Our values
The art of distillation meets passion & tradition
We produce our Korn fine distillate ourselves and do not buy any alcohol from industrial third-party production. With us, our Korn truly tastes like Korn and every fruit juice liqueur tastes fully of the fruit itself like cherry or redcurrant. We use refillable glass bottles and boxes for most of our products. Together with many other measures, this helps us to protect the environment. We offer unique distillates for special occasions and of course also package them in decorative or customized bottles.
Our house has been welcoming visitors for decades. Our “Ur-Haselünner Korn-Academie” would like to inspire you with our motto “stimulate the senses – enjoy nature – live in harmony”. We are always delighted when we meet connoisseurs at regional, national and sometimes international trade fairs and events who we can excite with our quality, because “Once a Rosche, always a Rosche!”

Climate protection and conservation of resources
We have been living in and with our homeland and its nature for over 300 years. We want to preserve this homeland. Our deposit system for reusable bottles and boxes has proven very successful for our environment. Thank you for helping us to avoid waste and use resources sensibly.
Our energy cycle concept and many energy savings protect the environment, e.g. through building insulation, waste heat utilization, heat recovery systems and the constant attention of all those involved. We feed almost all of the required electricity back into the grid via a photovoltaic system.
Regionality – lived for more than 300 years
Since its foundation in 1703 as an agricultural merchandising enterprise and especially since 1792 with the start of the distillery and spirit production – the added value of our company has increased time and time again due to satisfied customers in the region. Whether it was all kinds of mill products in former times, yeast or vinegar products or milk, pork or beef, fattened with the protein rich residuary products from the distillery (the stillage) our quality has always found approval and enthusiasm. Our distillery has become a solid component of the connoisseur culture in the Emsland, the Oldenburger Münsterland and beyond. Our origin is here and therefore we cultivate and enjoy the traditions of the region.
Social responsibilities far and wide
As manufacturers of high-proof spirits, we recognize that, like many aspects of daily life, they can bring immense joy when consumed in moderation. However, we are also acutely aware of the dangers posed by addictive substances and drugs, particularly in problematic situations. In such instances, any stimulant can produce adverse effects. Therefore, our products are not beneficial – just as they are inadvisable during pregnancy, while driving, or for those under the age of 18. We strongly urge everyone to refrain from consumption in these scenarios.We point this out as part of our “Ur-Haselünner Korn-Academie”, at other events or on the labels of our bottles.
Our advertising communication emphasizes the gourmet character of our products. We refuse to generate sales increases through discount campaigns.
For example, we support projects to boost the self-confidence of vulnerable young people in the region, to support street children in Brazil or for school education and water supply in Uganda.
Family and staff – the basis of success
Our Edelkorn distillery has been in family hands since its foundation. To date, together with our colleagues and staff, we have been able to overcome difficult phases resulting from death, economic crises and ruinous price wars. We thank them and our ancestors for their bravery and great commitment. It has always been and still is everyone’s personal mission to assure and continously increase the quality of our products. We take pride in our craftsmanship, willingness to serve, expertise, and last but not least, the excellent taste of our products.
As an independent, local producer of Edelkorn and liqueurs we want to continue bringing delight to many people far and wide.
